Danijela Zajc is a graduate educator and sociologist of culture. She has gained knowledge about contemporary dance, performance and contemporary circus at various workshops at home and abroad. Since 2012, she has been involved in dance and aerial acrobatics on fabric and rope.
She gains knowledge from various mentors, such as: Branko Potočan, Steve Boyd, Emililano Ron, Alex Allan, Gabriel Tramullas, Hristina Šormaz, Alexa Schonenberger, Una Bennett, Hanna Coeckelberghs, etc. She performs independently and with the groups Fourklour, Feminalz (Image Thieves), FEM TV, Moje prav(lj)ice. She is a co-founder of the circus training and performance space Cirkusarna NaokROG, where she has been leading aerial acrobatics workshops since 2016 and organizing a monthly cycle of DIY cabarets: Feminism is not a joke! Her interests focus on feminism and other socially engaged topics and the interweaving of various performing arts.
